Through analogue mediums I aim to create a materialised version of the in-between: the space between the real and the imaginary, the digital and the handmade. Through a process of escapism from our visually over-stimulating world, the urge for repetition and seeking patterns is my way to understand my reality. I aim to challenge the eyes in order to highlight our Ocularcentric lives, for a paradoxical experience of looking - one of both chaos and order, of sense and nonsense, of complexity and simplicity.

I explore the over-stimulation of our sense of sight and the gap between what is seen and what is perceived. My aim is to highlight how much of our reality we experience with our eyes alone.
In dealing with this over-stimulation, I mirror it back to the viewer. I deconstruct, reconstruct and re-present reality in order to comprehend it.
